A wife’s earnest prayer

Lord, help me love my husband for the man he is. Caring, capable, brilliant and a heart of gold. Things he possess few have. Help me understand him when I upset him and know the best thing to do to mend and not undermine him. Help me get friends here where we can help each other grow personally, in our marriages and families. May I be satisfied with a life You give me as I find out what that is in You, so I do not hang perpetually on my husband's neck. I want so bad to be the woman you created me to be and live in peace with the man you have given me. Please work in my heart to achieve these, my most important desires of my life, that my husband could live a fulfilled life, at peace and full of your love.

Thank you Lord Jesus. You have heard my earnest cry.
