I ran into this gentleman a few years before the pandemic in Greenlake. I spoke to him briefly as he was very intent on painting for his grandchildren. To him it seemed a painting was the most important thing for him to leave behind. Maybe a little of his heart, the way he saw things, his love. What will you leave? As a painter, what impressions will you leave this life and on whom and why?
